* rpc: Remove notion of separate table/idx space for weak referencesNick Mathewson2026-04-131-19/+5
| | | | | | | | | We no longer plan to have all weak-refs automatically de-duplicated, for reasons discussed at #868. This lets us discard a lot of code, including code to check for Arc/weak identity. I've disabled some unit tests here, but I'll add them back or rewrite them (or discard them as irrelevant) by the end of the branch.

* rpcserver: Use slotmap-careful instead of generational-arena.Nick Mathewson2024-08-141-6/+8
| | | | | | | | | Unlike generational-arena, slotmap is maintained. Unlike slotmap, slotmap-careful should never be able to reuse the same key for two different objects. Closes #1282.

* RPC: Implement a "global identifier" for non-session-bound IDsNick Mathewson2023-06-051-0/+226
These identifiers are actually only "global" with respect to a given `RpcMgr`, but they should not be forgeable or reusable across RpcMgr objects. We're going to use them so that we have a kind of identifier for `TorClient`s that we can expose to SOCKS.
