| * Non-working attempt to test onion service configuration.Nick Mathewson2023-10-031-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | The problem here is that, for some reason, the proxy_rule configuration doesn't actually work. I suspect a bug in Flatten, since the same configuration works fine if you pass it to the hsrproxy config directly.

| * | tor-rtmock: Add priority-queue dependencyIan Jackson2023-10-031-0/+11
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | For our time provider we want a priority queue that lets us look up entries and delete them. std's Heap doesn't do that. priority-queue has the API we need and reasonable stats etc, and is maintained. It has some IMO-tolerable licence wrinkles.

* Remove direct dependency on generic-arrayNick Mathewson2023-09-281-2/+0
| | | | | | | | | | Instead of tying ourselves to a particular version of the generic-array crate, we now always use the version re-exported by our RustCrypto crates. This lets us avoid the possibility of version mismatch. (Originally I had planned to upgrade to generic-array 1.0, but then I found that we were not actually using it.)

* hsrproxy: improve error handling somewhatNick Mathewson2023-09-271-0/+1

* | | tor_config: Provide FlattenIan Jackson2023-09-201-0/+21
|/ / | | | | | | | | This is an attempt to deal with the fact that `#[serde(flatten)]` is weirdly broken and doesn't work with `serde_ignored`.
* | hsproxy: reject configurations with unreachable patterns.Nick Mathewson2023-09-191-0/+1
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | This implementation uses rangemap to detect _all_ unreachable patterns, which might be a little overkill, but it's actually simpler to write it this way than to use an O(N^2) search to make sure that no pattern is covered by a _single_ previous pattern.
* | hss: Make the config builders serde.Nick Mathewson2023-09-191-0/+1
|/ | | | | Temporarily disable descriptor encryption configuration while we figure out how it should work (see #1028)
* arti-client: add exit selection with GeoIP country codeseta2023-09-181-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | This threads the country codes work through the rest of the codebase: - `tor-dirmgr` will now enable GeoIP with the embedded database when the `geoip` future is enabled - This can be extended later using the `DirMgrConfig` to allow specifying a custom database; this is not done here, though - `tor-circmgr`'s `SupportedCircUsage` and `TargetCircUsage` fields gain new `country_code` members to allow filtering circuits by country - These are `()` in builds where the `geoip` feature is not enabled -- doing it this way means we don't have to copy and paste huge swathes of code, since we can't use `#[cfg]` in patterns - `ExitPathBuilder` gains (hacked-in) support for choosing a relay with the correct country code - Due to the lack of conjuction, we just copy and paste a small bit, pending further refactoring - `StreamPrefs` now lets you specify a country code, letting embedders make use of the feature

| * Create a tor-hsrproxy crate to handle "proxy to local port".Nick Mathewson2023-09-071-0/+4
| | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | I'm calling this a "reverse proxy" since I think a lot of folks like that terminology, though I'm not personally a huge fan. Calling it "`tor-hsproxy`" would IMO confuse people more about what kind of proxy it was. This is a separate crate from `tor-hsservice` because it's logically at a different level: if you're writing a little embedded onion service, you don't need this code. Right now there is only configuration logic here.
